Please consider selling / buying popcorn this October to help raise money for Pack 218. The money raised helps offset the cost of many pack activities such as the pinewood derby, cabin camping, and the Blue and Gold banquet. Go to the Popcorn page for more information. Did you know 70 cents of every dollar raised goes toward local scouting? Den Leaders: Every den will be in charge of at least one primary activity/function scheduled for the year. The list will not change from year to year, so that the den leaders and parents are "forewarned" about the obligations they will have at the next level of scouting. - Webloes II ~ Orientation meeting / Recruiting for incoming tiger cubs, Flag ceremony for entire year at all pack meetings (unless other wise requested)

Many of the big events, such as the Blue and Gold, Pinewood, and Pancake will require many hands and other dens will be asked to help ease the burden. Please ask of others to get involved!!! (Akela means leader or "leadership" of the pack.) ANYONE who wishes to help guide the pack is welcome to attend the meetings. We need you! We need your ideas and want everyone to be involved. Please contact Keith Smiley if you are intersted in joing the AKELA Meetings! If more people come to the meetings and volunteer we can do more fun and exciting things!
